The South Florida Sun-Sentinel’s Ira Winderman reported that Chris Bosh is nominated for induction into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
Chris Bosh among those nominated for 2020 induction into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. It is a loaded class, also including Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett. Tim Hardaway also back on 50-player ballot. Finalists announced Feb. All-Star Weekend in Chicago.— Ira Winderman (@IraHeatBeat) December 19, 2019
Bosh spent six seasons with the Heat, with the last two being cut short due to blood clots that forced the 6-foot-11 player to retire. He won two championships with Miami. Earlier this year, the Heat retired his No. 1 jersey.
Bosh’s biggest moment in a Heat uniform didn’t come with a clutch 3-pointer, but with a rebound — the one that gave Ray Allen an open corner 3 to tie the game in Game 6 of the 2013 NBA Finals. Bosh has watched many Heat games this season court-side.
Former Heat guard Tim Hardaway, whose No. 10 jersey also hangs in the rafters at American Airlines Arena, was also nominated.
