Game Preview: Heat look for measuring stick in visiting Raptors

Game Story:

The Miami Heat have played the schedule they have been given...and they have taken advantage of it. At 14-5, the Heat are right in the mix at the top of the Eastern Conference. But many people are still looking for a measuring stick, something to show them the Heat can beat the good teams.

That’s where the 15-4 Toronto Raptors come in. This, along with tomorrow night in Boston, will be a great tool to measure the Heat’s ability to hang with the big boys. Toronto is coming off a dominant win over the Utah Jazz and have won 7 straight games and are undefeated at home.

With Goran Dragic out with an injury, the Heat will again make rotation changes...maybe even opening up the door for Dion Waiters to get some minutes. I’m not banking on that, I bet the extra time goes to Justise Winslow and more time for Tyler Herro, but you never know. The Raptors are also likely to still be without Kyle Lowry.

This will be a good test for the Heat.
