This is our GAMETHREAD: Chat live about the game here!
The Miami Heat will be welcoming back Goran Dragic tonight but will be without Justise Winslow and James Johnson when they host the Detroit Pistons.
Dragic won’t start but will play limited minutes off the bench, so Rodney McGruder is replacing Winslow, who is out with a sprained left knee, in the starting lineup. Johnson suffered a shoulder injury during the Heat’s last game, a 106-102 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday. Meanwhile, Derrick Jones Jr. impressed in his first game back from his knee injury.
The loss, coupled with the Pistons win last night against the Atlanta Hawks in overtime, has the Heat currently in 9th place in the East and a full game behind Detroit, winners of five of their last six games, in the standings.
Keep an eye on Wayne Ellington, who would love to have a big revenge game at the AmericanAirlines Arena.
