The Miami Heat play their first game since the NBA trade deadline when they visit the Sacramento Kings tonight at the Golden 1 Center.

Hassan Whiteside enjoyed a dominant performance with 28 points, 11 rebounds, four steals and two blocks to lead the Heat to a 118-110 victory against the Portland Trail Blazers to open their road trip. Not only did he convert on an ultra-efficient 11-12 field goal attempts, he even went 6-7 from the free throw line!

Sacramento certainly poses challenges and are no longer pushovers, but if the Heat (and Whiteside) can play as well as they in Portland they have a great shot at going 2-0 on their road trip. Which is a good thing because their next game is against the Golden State Warriors.
