The Miami Heat are looking to put their bitter loss to the Houston Rockets behind them when they host the Brooklyn Nets tonight at the AmericanAirlines Arena.

Brooklyn has been one of the more surprising teams in the East and are set to take one of the coveted playoff spots Miami also wants. After winning six straight games in late January, the Nets have been a bit wobbly since, winning just five times in their last 14 games.

Bam Adebayo makes his seventh start of the season in place of Hassan Whiteside, who is missing his third straight game with a hip strain. Goran Dragic will continue to play off the bench as he makes his comeback but he is listed as questionable, hoping to continue to provide a welcome boost of offense. Kelly Olynyk was previously listed as questionable but will continue to start in James Johnson’s place.

The close loss to the Rockets sank the Heat to a season-worst seven games below .500 but remain just 1.5 games behind the Charlotte Hornets out of the eighth and final playoff spot.
