The Miami Heat (39-42) visit the Brooklyn Nets (41-40) in the final game of the 2018-19 NBA season and the last game ever for Dwyane Wade.
Miami was eliminated from playoff contention last night during Wade’s final home game and the celebration made Heat Nation forget all about becoming a lottery team. Tonight however will be a sobering reminder that Wade really is going to be gone forever while the Nets head to the postseason and the Heat are left to pick up the pieces of a frustrating season.
Though the game is meaningless for the Heat, it will still represent a special chance to see Wade for one last dance. Let’s enjoy every minute of it as he plays his final minutes ever on an NBA court.
