The Miami Heat have announced how they plan to celebrate Dwyane Wade and his legendary career with the franchise as the 2018-19 NBA regular season comes to a close.

His last ever NBA regular season home game at the AmericanAirlines Arena will be marked by a special pregame ceremony before the Heat host the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday, April 9th that is scheduled to take place at 7:00pm sharp.

According to the Heat, the ceremony will feature:

  • Official Wade Career Retrospective Video
  • Special Guest Tributes
  • Wade Fan Address
  • Wade-centric Player Introduction Sequence

Fans in attendance will receive:

  • L3GACY Shirts courtesy of Kia Motors America
  • Cheering Fans courtesy of Carnival Cruise Line
  • L3GACY Lanyard and Commemorative Game Ticket courtesy of FOX Sports Sun
  • Wade-centric Collectible TIPOFF Magazine with 3-D Covers

A new microsite at HEAT.com/Wade is now live and features exclusive content, including special videos of Wade’s greatest moments on the court as well as the Wade L3GACY Court Culture merchandise collection. With doors at the AA Arena opening at 6:00pm, fans are encouraged to arrive early and can download a selection of “D. Wade Doctor’s Notes, courtesy of Baptist Health South Florida, to justify an early exit from school, work or any other regularly scheduled activity.”

More content will continue to be added to the site. The Heat’s official app also features the ability to do a virtual jersey swap with #3.

New Wade signage has been added to the outside of the arena including flags, “Wade Street” banners and a huge L3GACY banner on the front, and more.
