Miami has to win to stay alive in the playoff race against a tough opponent on the road.

The Miami Heat (38-41) have no choice but to end their three-game losing streak today to have any realistic hope of making the playoffs.

An early game against the Toronto Raptors on the road isn’t exactly the ideal match-up but at this point in the season their backs are against the wall and losing isn’t an option if they want to continue Dwyane Wade’s last dance. The Raptors lead the season series 3-0 and have only lost nine times at home this season.

A loss to the Raptors coupled with both the Detroit Pistons and the Brooklyn Nets winning today would eliminate them.
