GAME PREVIEW: Heat host Sixers in Dwyane Wade’s home finale

New, comments

The curtain will set on the iconic career of Dwyane Wade inside the AAA when the Heat play the Sixers.

NBA: Miami Heat at Philadelphia 76ers Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

The Miami Heat (38-42) are hosting the Philadelphia 76ers (50-30) for their final home game of the 2018-19 regular season...and also the final home game of their iconic superstar, Dwyane Wade. For Miami, the game still has implications. Their playoff hopes are dimly alive as they can still make the postseason if they win their final two games while the Detroit Pistons lose their final two games (Memphis, New York). Although unlikely, it’s not over.

Although the game has meaning...this game is all about Dwyane Wade. With pregame ceremonies, standing room only, the place should be a special atmosphere.

What To Watch For

Dwyane Wade
Every time he touches the ball the entire arena should be cheering. Don’t take your eyes off of him, it is likely the last time you see him in uniform at the AAA.
