Bam Adebayo, whom the Heat selected with the 14th pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, will make an appearance at the watch party.
This will be the first year the NBA will enforce its draft lottery reform that is designed to disincentivize tanking. The changes don’t significantly affect Miami as the 13th-worst team — but their chances of getting into the top four are slightly higher than they would have been.
