Denver has acquired Bol Bol in a trade, league source says. https://t.co/BPtsQCDrVj— Adrian Wojnarowski (@wojespn) June 21, 2019
The son of NBA legend Manute Bol only played nine games with the Oregon Ducks due to injury but has an impressive skill set. Bol Bol, who measures 7’-3”, slid way down in the draft and would have made an interesting project for the Heat, who instead shifted their focus on Stanford forward KZ Okpala in a trade with the Indiana Pacers earlier in the second round.
The Heat will receive a future second round pick and cash considerations in exchange for Bol Bol, helping the Heat round out the three second round picks they must now convey to the Pacers. Miami had previously acquired the #44 pick from the Atlanta Hawks last night for a future conditional second round pick and $1.88 million cash.
