The Miami Heat are finalizing a sign-and-trade deal for Jimmy Butler. Josh Richardson will go to the Philadelphia 76ers as part of the trade, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Butler will be signing a four-year, $142 million maximum contract with the Miami Heat, according to Shams Charania.

According to the Miami Herald’s Barry Jackson, Miami could look to pair Bradley Beal with Butler — at least, that’s what former NBA forward Matt Barnes thinks.
Former NBA forward Matt Barnes says on ESPN "I hear (Heat) is trying to pair (Butler) with Bradley Beal." But Wizards owner Leonsis reportedly told Beal this off-season that he won't be traded.

UPDATE: ESPN’s Ramona Shelbourne is reporting that Goran Dragic is being shipped to the Dallas Mavericks as part of the Jimmy Butler deal.
Goran Dragic has been traded to Dallas to create cap room needed for Butler sign-and-trade, according to multiple reports. Dragic's agent said in past minute that neither Mavericks nor Heat has informed him.
