Miami native Udonis Haslem, who began his NBA career with the Heat in 2003, will play for one more season. The three-time NBA champion announced the news on his Instagram account.
As I wrote earlier, Miami’s move to waive Yante Maten may have foreshadowed Haslem’s return. Heat President Pat Riley said that he was proud to welcome Haslem back.
Pat Riley, "We are proud to welcome our captain back for a 17th season. UD is the heart and soul of Miami and we are proud to have him help lead this team once again.”
