UPDATE: X-rays came back negative for Olynyk. He will take a week off before continuing with Canada’s national team.
Miami Heat stretch-four Kelly Olynyk suffered what appeared to be a knee injury after falling during a FIBA exhibition game. Olynyk is a member of Canada’s national team preparing for the FIBA World Cup.

Canada coach Nick Nurse said that Olynyk would have X-rays, with an update expected Thursday.
The 28-year-old is entering the third season of a four-year deal he signed with the Heat in 2017. Some have penciled him in as the Heat’s starting power forward; Bam Adebayo and him have posted a plus-210 during the past two seasons.
