According to ESPN’s Adrian Woknarowski, Erik Spoelstra has agreed to a long term contract extension with the Miami Heat as he enters his twelfth season. Often heralded as one of the best coaches in the league, this move clearly demonstrates Miami’s willingness to stay competitive long term.
