Game Story:
The Miami Heat (30-13) are in the midst of a nice little home stand as they defend their 19-1 record at home. Coming in on Wednesday will be the Washington Wizards (14-28) who shocked the Heat a few weeks ago with a 123-105 win in a game they were depleted roster-wise. But still, the Wizards hot shooting and the Heat’s offensive fumbles made way for one of the more embarrassing losses this season for the Heat.
The Heat should be back to full strength after Jimmy Butler sat out a back-to-back on Monday in the win vs the Sacramento Kings. In that game, the Heat improved to 7-0 in overtime this season.
This will be their first look at Bradley Beal, a potential All-Star player this year, averaging over 27 PPG. And if you didn’t know, there’s been plenty of trade rumors about how the Heat would like to het ahold of Beal — hopefully he gets a close up look at the culture.
FiveThirtyEight has the Heat with a 61% chance to win this game.
