The Miami Heat (31-14) are looking to get a rebound win after losing at home to the LA Clippers. The only problem...so are their opponent, the Orlando Magic (21-26). The Clippers completed the Florida sweep over the weekend led by Kawhi Leonard.
Miami, with a win would move back into second place in the Eastern Conference. But they could be short-handed again. As Jimmy Butler, Goran Dragic and Kendrick Nunn are all questionable for the matchup. The Heat are obviously still without Justise Winslow (Okpala, Silva also out for G-League). In their absence, Dion Waiters has emerged from the basement to offer some scoring and flair. It was a tough matchup to return to, but he faired decent and played in the clutch.
If this is his opportunity to remerge into the rotation or make his trade value increase...we will see. Either way, the Heat are also looking to get some revenge after Orlando beat them in their last matchup up the road.
FiveThirtyEight has the Heat with a 65% chance to win this game.
