The Miami Herald’s Barry Jackson reported that the Miami Heat will sign guard Gabe Vincent to a two-way contract. Jackson also reported that the team will waive Daryl Macon, who came into the season on a two-way contract.

Vincent is a 6-foot-3 guard who has made 88 3-pointers in 209 attempts this season in the G League, which leads the league. He plays for the Stockton Kings and played college basketball at UC Santa Barbara.

Under the deal, Vincent can spend 26 days with the Heat (pro-rated from the 45 days two-way players can have if they are signed from the beginning of the season) until the G League season ends in mid-March. Vincent will play with the Sioux Falls Skyforce when he is not with Miami.

Macon has played in four games for the Heat this season. He offered Miami some spot minutes at point guard with injuries to Goran Dragic and Justise Winslow.
