Goran Dragic will be back in Miami Heat black and red this season, as he announced today on Social Media that he will be re-signing with the team. The Heat had put up billboards around Slovenia, in an effort to lure back the veteran point guard and it appears as if the efforts were a success!

The deal is worth $37.4M over the next two seasons. Before an untimely injury in Game 1 of the NBA Finals, Goran was Miami’s top scorer in the playoffs. We analyzed his play in September.

It’s expected Goran will be relegated back to Sixth Man duties where he thrived last season before being thrust back in a starting role during the playoffs.

Goran has been with the Miami Heat since 2015, and it’s great to have him back.
