According to Lowe, the Denver Nuggets are also interested in Holiday and Gallinari. Lowe also added that Miami’s unwillingness to part with 20-year-old Tyler Herro could make a deal for Holiday unrealistic. Having already sent out their 2021 and 2023 first-round picks, Miami understandably wants to hold onto Herro, whom the Heat selected last year.
Gallinari is on the last year of his contract. But like many players on the Heat, he’s a one-way player. He’s a dynamic offensive scorer, but struggles defensively. Besides, with Justise Winslow in the midst of an injury-plagued season, how good of a player can Miami trade for?
