Game Preview: Heat end home-stand vs Magic

Game Story:

The Miami Heat (39-22) started their five-game home-stand with a disappointing loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, but have responded with three straight victories, including a dismantling of the Milwaukee Bucks.

And they will finish their home-stand against the Orlando Magic (27-34). The Magic are always a pesky opponent for the Heat, and you never know what type of game you are going to get. But if the Heat can muster the same type of intensity that they had Monday against the Bucks, they will be in good shape.

Aaron Gordon and Derrick Jones Jr. get the see each other for the first time since the epic Dunk Contest at the NBA All-Star Saturday Night showdown — so that should be fun. The Magic are in a tussle for the 7/8 seed with the Brooklyn Nets, so they definitely have something to play for in this one, but they have dropped their last two games.

FiveThirtyEight has the Heat with a 73% chance to win tonight.
