Even with the NBA season suspended, Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra still talks with his coaching staff every other day. Except now, it’s on Zoom.
Spoelstra spoke on a conference call with local reporters Wednesday afternoon. He said he meets with his assistant coaches to plan for a possible resumption of the NBA season.
Erik Spoelstra said the Heat coaching staff is having Zoom conference meetings every other day "to prepare for the possibility the season will resume."

Heat players and staff organize workouts over the Zoom platform as well. Spoelstra also said that Miami players are “itching to play” and that everyone would be open to playing in empty arenas.
Spoelstra says he hasn’t given any thought to playing without fans but believes players “would do it in a heartbeat. They are just itching to play.”
