Jones, who has been asymptomatic, was tested Tuesday, when mandatory testing for NBA players and staff started.
According to the NBA’s health and safety manual, Jones must self-isolate until he receives at least two consecutive negative COVID-19 tests more than 24 hours apart. He then needs to undergo a cardiac screening.
The Heat are scheduled to take a bus trip to the Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coranado Springs Resort July 9 — exactly two weeks from now.
