After putting together an impressive performance in the Miami Heat’s Saturday win over the Denver Nuggets, Jimmy Butler was not with the team for practice Sunday.
Erik Spoelstra declines to comment further, nor offer update on Butler's status for Monday afternoon vs. Raptors. https://t.co/mh6kNCQue0

Jae Crowder commented on the absence, saying that, “It’s definitely a curve ball to us to hear stuff like what’s going on with him.” Who knows what that is referring to, but I just hope Butler and his family are OK. Hopefully the fact that he’s still in the NBA bubble means that it will just be a day off.
Jae Crowder on Jimmy Butler, "We want to talk to him as soon as he gets out of quarantine and whatever he's in. But it's just next-man-up mentality." And, "It's definitely a curve ball to us to hear stuff like what's going on with him. And you never know what to expect."
