The Heat have gotten off to a shaky start to the year. But the chaotic start hasn’t caught most of the the NBA world off guard.

There have been plenty of other surprises to go around this year. According to the most recent SB Nation Reacts survey, the Raptors slow start – along with the hot starts by the Suns, Hornets and Knicks – were considered the biggest surprises so far.

Those teams starts are due in large part to the play of a few young stars, including LaMelo Ball, Julius Randle and Tyrese Haliburton. Those players all popped up when fans were asked which players have been the biggest surprises so far.
