GAME STORY
The Miami Heat have lost three straight games and hoping to get back on track when they host the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday night. Denver has won three straight and is 6-2 on the road this season and 10-7 overall.
The Heat will still be without All-Star Jimmy Butler who is nearing a return, but not in this game. Miami still has a long list of injuries and absences on their list. They will have their work cut out for them guarding Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic. Jokic’s passing and shooting ability will make it hard for Miami to play a zone against a talented roster and one that rebounds very well.
Tyler Herro is still questionable for this game, but his presence would be welcome in a return if he is ready. This will be the start of 7 of the next 8 games at home for Miami and also the first of a back-to-back as they will host the L.A. Clippers tomorrow night.
We are hoping to see if aggressive Bam Adebayo is here to stay or not.
ODDS: FiveThirtyEight gives the Heat a 49% chance to win the game.
HEAT VS NUGGETS: WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 27 AT 7:30 PM.
