Two teams that have struggled out of the gate — the Miami Heat and Washington Wizards —meet each other tonight. After the Heat’s 107-105 loss to the Boston Celtics Wednesday night, Jimmy Butler blasted his team for “not playing hard.” And over in the nation’s capital, Bradley Beal has said “we can’t guard a parked car.”

The Wizards’ struggles have come in spite of herculean efforts from Beal. In his last two games, Beal has scored 101 points — 60 points in Philadelphia and 41 in Boston — but the Wizards have lost both games.

In fact, the Heat come into tonight’s game with the 26th-ranked offense. The Wizards, by contrast, hold the 26th-ranked defense.

Aside from the basketball, Wednesday’s storming of the U.S. Capitol building has shaken some Heat players. Bam Adebayo said that he won’t leave his hotel room.

The game will tip off shortly after 7 p.m. on NBATV.

Tip-off is a little after 7 p.m. ET.
