The Bucks swept the Heat pretty easily in the playoffs last year. But Miami snatched P.J. Tucker away from them in free agency, who admitted that he wants to win this game pretty bad. The Bucks won their season opener against the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday night.
The Heat will need to slow down Giannis who had a great opening game and has seemed to get even better than he was last year. The biggest problem for Miami will be matching up the PF-C combo because Brook Lopez does create a massive size difference if anyone other than Bam gets switched onto him...and we all know the Heat will switch most screens.
The Bucks shot really well from deep against the Nets, and the Heat will need to hope that their home-cooking can help them shoot well also. Jrue Holiday exited the game on Tuesday early, so if he is unable to go, that would be a huge benefit for Miami. He had a heel contusion, I will guess he doesn’t play in this one.
Let’s see if Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, and Kyle Lowry can make some noise on national television.
This hopefully is an exciting game and one the Heat can set their tone of the season off on a great note.
