GAME STORY

It was a lot of fun to watch the new-look Miami Heat open their preseason with a win over the Atlanta Hawks, but now they are on the road for another tuneup against the Houston Rockets.

Houston also won their preseason opener with a 125-119 victory over the Washington Wizards. The Rockets have #2 overall pick Jalen Green to showcase who had a great summer league and seems very explosive. The Rockets have a unique lineup the Heat will need to deal with as Christian Wood is a great big, but they also go big with Theis. I would expect PJ Tucket not to play after messing with an injury in the first game.

Hopefully, we will see Jimmy Butler in this game, but that remains unknown.

This seems to be another type of game that the Heat will get a few reps in from a starting unit and then hand it off to the end of the roster for further evaluation. This game will be on ESPN2.

HEAT VS ROCKETS: THURSDAY, OCTOBER 7 AT 10:00 P.M.
