GAME STORY
The Miami Heat (6-2) host the Utah Jazz (7-1) tonight at the FTX Arena looking for a bounce back victory after playing so poorly at home in a blowout loss against the Boston Celtics earlier this week.
For the first time this season, the Heat’s offense looked disjointed the entire game and the offensive struggles, especially from Duncan Robinson and Kyle Lowry, could not be disguised with players like Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo failing to get hot. While Robinson finished with 16 points, it took 17 shots to get those points, and Jimmy Butler similarly took 18 shots to score a team-leading 20 points.
After finding his shot in the last few games, Lowry only finished with six points before hobbling off the court in the second half. He is currently day-to-day and remains questionable for tonight.
Utah meanwhile is searching for their fourth straight win, but could also potentially be without star Donovan Mitchell who is questionable with an ankle injury. He did not play in Thursday night’s 116-98 win against the Atlanta Hawks after spraining his right ankle during Tuesday’s win against the Sacramento Kings.
Unfortunately without knowing the playing status of Mitchell or Lowry, it’s difficult to analyze how this game will play out. Here’s hoping the Heat find their rhythm regardless of who plays.
