The NBA and the Miami Heat have announced the schedule for the 36 games that comprise the second half of the 2020-21 NBA regular season.
AmericanAirlines Arena will host half of the new games for a total of 18 home games and 18 road games to be played after the NBA All-Star break beginning March 11 through May 16. Miami will make five national television appearances (two on ESPN, two on TNT and one on NBATV) and Fox Sports Sun will air 33 games. The Heat will have two separate four-game homestands, one that will run from March 19 to March 25 and the second will take place April 1 through the 8th, ending with the Heat hosting the Los Angeles Lakers. After their brutal West Coast trip that recently concluded, the Heat only have a four-game road trip from April 11-16 that marks their longest for the second half of the season.
It seems like the Miami Heat and the Orlando Magic often play each other in the first game of a new schedule and this one is no different, with the two state rivals squaring off in Miami on Thursday, March 11 at 8pm.
More fans will be allowed inside AmericanAirlines Arena beginning with today’s game against the Toronto Raptors, though ticket info for these recently announced games will be released at a later time.
