A tough and tight battle, the Heat held on for the win in New York. Playing without Goran Dragic, Miami relied on their starting 5 and great play from Tyler Herro to secure the win. They’ll have to play just as good to beat the Knicks again, as Miami hasn’t had a great track record at home recently.
Goran Dragic remains out after suffering an ankle injury on Friday night. That means the Heat will run pretty much the same lineup they did on Sunday. For the Knicks, it is unclear whether newly acquired Derrick Rose will be available, but I would guess not.
The Heat will need to do a better job of guarding Julius Randle and hope that Reggie Bullock isn’t on fire again. RJ Barrett probably won’t play as bad as he did on Sunday, so there will be adjustments.
ODDS: FiveThirtyEight gives the Heat a 70% chance to win the game.
