GAME STORY
The Miami Heat and Chicago Bulls are both on the backside of a back-to-back. After defeating the Orlando Magic last night, the Heat will look to move ahead in the Eastern Conference standings with a win against the Chicago Bulls. The margins are slim in the East, a win means a lot, and a loss can be a significant setback.
The Heat will be without Bam Adebayo again as he recovers from a knee ailment. Zach LaVine, first-time All-Star is averaging over 28 PPG and leading Chicago to a 16-19 record which has them in the hunt for a playoff spot.
A win would give Miami a 5th straight road victory and would also make it the 9th win in 11 games. This is the first meeting between the Heat and Bulls this season. The Bulls give up a lot of points, over 115 PPG which is 6th worst in the NBA. The Heat should hopefully be able to find a rhythm against them and use their NBA-best defense over the past 15 games to secure a win.
ODDS: FiveThirtyEight gives the Heat a 53% chance to win the game.
HEAT VS MAGIC: FRIDAY, MARCH 12 AT 9:00 PM.
