The Miami Heat gave up a good opportunity to make up some ground in the East standings when they lost to the Bulls on Monday, but they have another chance as the teams around them continue to struggle.
The Heat host the Spurs who they played a week ago in San Antonio. Miami won that game on a second-half blitz with a great defensive effort. Now, they have to prove their consistency and resilience as they play them again.
The good news for the Heat is that Duncan Robinson is not on the injury report. He left Monday’s game with an illness after scoring only 3 points. The Heat will contend with some other injuries and continue to be without Victor Oladipo.
The Spurs have won 3 straight and 7 of their last 10 and sit in 9th in the West. Everybody is playing for something tonight.
ODDS: FiveThirtyEight gives the Heat a 69% chance to win the game.
