A new series and totally different matchups. And it will require some different approaches. But, not always does a team with a better record or a higher seed always present a more difficult challenge. I am seeing more of a Milwaukee Bucks type challenge here, less of a Knicks/Celtics type. I am just saying it is entirely possible we already faced our toughest opposition. Obviously, I could be wrong, especially in light of how our regular season games went against Denver. But, this is the finals baby, and this Heat team has grown with each round. We may be ready for the Nuggets. Go Heat!
Heat went nuts offensively in first round. They got the job done with D in the second. Its more of a mix in the ecf. So for this series I hope both the offense and defense shows up coz we cnt rely on Denver having bad games for Miami to have a chance. But again no one saw us here. Including me. 4 more Ws! Go Heat!
I have to admit, I'm getting some "Heat/Celtics Game 2" vibes for the game tonight. Everyone is not only picking the Nuggets, but saying that the circumstances are making it nearly impossible for the Heat to win the game. I feel like the Heat play their best when everyone is counting them out.
Am I crazy to to laugh at some of these people picking the Nuggets to sweep? You want to favor them for the series? Okay. Fine. But a sweep because teh Nuggets swept the Lakers? Because they think Miami after what they have done these playoffs is that bad? Damn, maybe I'm just such a homer that outcome seems so improbable. What are they going to say if Heat take game 1? Oh Nuggets in 5! Lol gto
We need Bam to go at it on the offensive end with the goal being to wear out Jokic. The harder you make him work on defense, the harder it is for him on offense

Keys to the Heat beating the Nuggets.
Make Jokic be a scorer and not a passer.
Play 9-10 players every game, superior depth is the Heat's secret weapon, they are deeper than the Nuggets.
Turn the Nuggets over and get out in transition.
Limit the Nuggets transition attack they lead the playoffs in fastbreak points.
Keep them off the Defensive glass.
Try to get up 36+ threes every game.
The Heat are the more battle tested team and has faced a more difficult path to get here than the Nuggets.
I also believe that the Heat want this more.
I expect the Heat to shock the world once again and win this series in 6 or 7.

My hope is that the Heat's tenacious defense which I liken to a Bulldog's jaw, will not let go until the Nuggets are down.
