Narrative now is Boston beat themselves. Hahahahahahahaha!!!! Three games?!!! So they're just confirming that they choked for 3 straight games. Does that equate to their so called Celtic pride? 3 straight chokers?! In the playoffs?! This is not a take against this Boston team. Absolute respect to that org. Plus im a Tatum kinda fan lol. This is for their fans who still doesn't give credit to Heat culture after embarrassing them this series. Also did you all notice Gabe outscored the talented Celts duo?

It's borderline disrespectful the way all of the talking heads are talking about how the Celtics gave up, are soft, no fight etc without even taking into consideration the fact that the Miami Heat was directly responsible for that.

No matter how much they quit our guys still had to make their shots. Players miss wide open shots every game.

There are some new Heat converts I will admit.

From Celticsblog:

"In 2017, the first seed Celtics lost the first two games at home to the 8th seed Bulls. That Celtics team featured Al Horford, rookie Jaylen Brown and 3rd year Marcus Smart. The Bulls were led by Jimmy Butler. After losing the first 2 games at home, the Celtics went on to win the next 4 games to win the series."

Finish this off tomorrow. Go Heat, Go!!

I’ve gone through a lot of comments on the Celtics blog. There’s a lot of decent folks there, mostly distraught, but reasonable. But I’ll tell you what I think is pathetic, and it’s not exclusive to a few morons there. I’ve seen the same garbage on other blogs. It’s when one team is down and likely out, and someone posts “okay, so we lost, but Denver is going to kill/destroy the Heat “.

Beat Bulls in play-in - Bucks will crush Miami.

Beat the Bucks in first round - Knicks fans rejoice, ‘yay, we’re playing the Heat!’

Beat the Knicks in round two - Heat have no chance against the Celtics

Up 3-0 in ECF - “if we (Celtics) lose, they’ll be swept by Denver.”

When my team loses, I generally don’t give a rat’s butt what happens after that. My team is out, that’s all that matters. What can we do/who can we get in the offseason to improve.

For those of you who weren’t around, this is similar to 2006. Nobody gave the team credit. Even in the final game, Hubie Brown (calling the game) didn’t believe the Heat could win until the last seconds ticked off the game clock. I’m not sure he even believed it then.

Meaning of presumption: Celtics fans talking about who Celtics were likely going to meet in the West for the NBA finals when Celtics and the Sixers series were not over.

For those already talking about Denver before game 4. How about YurtSeven vs Jovic? If you think this is laughable, well that is my intention. Talking about Denver before game 4 , imho is immature and presumptuous. So let's focus on Miami vs Celtics game 4 and forget Denver for the moment. We shall get to Denver, if and when the time comes.

well, i finally got flagged for trolling the Celtics blog. I feel like the guy that got a tech for responding to the initial trash-talk. What happened to all of those Celtics trolls that were here before Game 1?

Miami has been jabbing in games 1,2 & 3. Let's go for the knock out punch in game 4.

Let's go Heat!

Did you guys see the crowd in the TNT postgame show? They were chanting "Three percent". For those that don't know, ESPN analytics gave the Celtics a 97% chance of winning the series.

Reflections from comments posted on May 15th before Miami:Boston Game 1 on May 17th.

"My worry about Celtics is not Brown or Tatum, Spo can plan effective defense against them. The main concern are those unsung peripheral shooters like Marcus Smart etc, who knock down those 3 pointers at the much needed time to push Boston leads or cushion them. If we can clean those up, the duo of Brown and Tatum will not be enough to win the series against the Heat. Celtics perimeter defense is elite. Our shooters will need to move the ball around a lot or have guys move off the ball to get split seconds open chance to shoot. Boston is not going to give you a lot of open looks at the periphery. Also, the Heat will need guys who can penetrate and hit mid range jumpers. This is where I think we shall miss Tyler who can hurt a team in a variety of ways. Butler definitely should expect double teams and a heavy dose of Marcus Smart on defense. I also expect the Celtics to go tough on the boards. Bam will need a lot of help on the boards. It has to be a collective team effort. I give Spo the edge for in game adjustments. It should be an interesting series barring any injuries. Hope #48 will not officiate any of the games. Hope #48 will not officiate in any of the games. Go Heat, Go!"

So far in games 1, 2 and 3, Gabe, Duncan and Caleb making up for what we may have missed from TY.

I was watching replays of the Miami and Boston series and there were 2 things that stood out for me. The improvement of Duncan's read as an offball mover, recognizing where the opponents are paying attention and making cuts base on that. Before, he takes his shot from a bam screen hand off or will wait on the corner/his best spots but now they can now do give and go plays. You can easily see the chemistry between Bam and Duncan in this series and its beautiful to see.

But all of these things are becoming possible thanks to another factor which is Bam's improve shooting range that defense respects. Miami mostly do their base offense using Bam as a passing hub either from the middle of the floor or pinch post where he looks for shooters, dribble hand offs and rarely cutters. I said rarely because before bam's opponents used to drop on him making the paint clogged for cutters and if there were nothing that comes off from a screening action, Bam will drive and force a tough finish but the difference now is that your giving bam space for a mid range doing elbow jumpers.

These has been fun series and lastly Jimmy Butler combining Tatum's finger gun and Al Hoford's time out that they did in game 1 was hilarious .

Please, Heat finish if off in game 4. Do not let Celtics be the one to make history coming from 0-3. My heart burns when other team lesser known players make career history in points scored in Miami. Please, don't let Celtics be the one to make history coming from 0-3 in a play of ECF. Don't give them a lifeline in game 4. Go Heat, Go!
